Surface:
9 Lane All-weather track surface and runways. Restricted to 3/16 pyramid
spikes. (2) Long Jump pits, high jump, shot put ring. Spikes will be available for purchase for $5.
Entry Fees: $4 per individual event and $10.00 per relays.
LONG BEACH SPRINTERS TRACK CLUB
Entry fees are non-refundable and must be paid in cash, money order or club check (No Personal checks). All checks payable to “Long Beach Sprinters”. All unattached entries can be paid with money order or cash only.
AUTOMATIC TIMING WILL BE EXCLUSIVELY FOR THOSE WHO PRE-REGISTERED (PRIOR TO FEBRUARY 23RD, MIDNIGHT). SEEDED REGISTRATION THROUGH ATHLETIC.NET.
STADIUM INSTRUCTIONS
Seating: There is only seating on one side of the stadium. Tents and large umbrellas will be restricted to the top rows of the bleachers. Tents will also be allowed in the warm up areas on the grass. Please keep all walkways, fencing and entry gate areas clear. There is NO SMOKING, PETS, CHEWING GUM, SHELLED NUTS OR SEEDS permitted on college grounds. ANY sporting drinks on or around the track will not be permitted. Setting up the night before will not be permitted. The stadium will open at 6:15am
Restroom Facilities: Restroom’s facilities will be available behind the stadium on the home side of the stadium
Concessions: Food and drinks will be available for purchase. NO outside cooking, in the parking lot or in and around the stadium is allowed.
Parking: LBCC Parking lot $5 and no IN/OUTS.
Seeded Heats for Automatic Timingwill be age verified through athletic.net. Top 3 runners in each duivision will receive medals. There will be not seeded registration after February, 23rdmidnight pacific coast standard time.
Open Registration for Hand Timing will remain open throughout the meet. Athlete’s name and date of birth, must be provided and may be verified on athletic.net. Athletes will only receive ribbons.
Check In: All participants must check in at the Clerk of the Course when their events are called. There will be two lines, one for those who preregistered and another for those who are participating the opening races. Events participants must report directly to the official on the field in charge of the event when called. REMINDER: CLERK OF COURSE will close (10) minutes after 3rd & FINAL CALL LATE athletes will not be allowed to run. Rolling schedule will vary depending upon number of entries in each event. Four attempts will be given in throws and horizontal jumps. All Field event awards will be given at each event. All others will be given out once the athlete crosses the finish line.
